At Simpson Studios, we strive to offer photography that seamlessly merges timeless techniques and posing with the spontaneity of classic photojournalism. We offer today’s bride the opportunity to have both traditional and documentary-styled images that will truly reflect the one-of-a-kind nature of your wedding.
When selecting us as your photographer, it is important to understand our particular photographic style. The marriage of a couple is the culmination of months of work and planning by dozens of individuals. It is a celebration that cannot be repeated and it contains so many facets that it takes a blending of photographic styles to capture the true essence of the celebration. Unfortunately, most established photography companies specialize in only a single style, capturing a single portion of the wedding as a whole. Offering a unique blending of multiple styles, however, enables us to capture each individual photograph as if it were a story all its own in a method that best suits the subject and situation. We realize the importance of capturing beautiful family photographs for posterity, as a wedding is often the only time extended family has the opportunity to be together, and we believe this is an important aspect of the wedding celebration. Additionally, a traditionally-styled portrait of the happy couple is a timeless addition to any album as well as an elegant choice for a wall portrait. While the strong contribution of classic portraiture is undeniable, weddings are as much about honesty and emotion as it is about beauty and so we are constantly looking for the fleeting moments of excitement and sentiment that infuse the day with personality and bring back the most vivid memories. We work to be both helpful and invisible, to offer gently coaching when it is necessary and blend into the scenery when it’s not.

Our rates begin at $800 for up to six hours of wedding day coverage with extra hours available for an additional fee. Our wedding collections can be purchased separately with albums starting at $600 and DVD collections at $800. We strive to provide two photographers for each wedding, but this is subject to change based on circumstance.
