About Simpson Studios
Simpson Studios Photography is located in western Iowa, 40 minutes east of Council Bluffs. We serve a large portion of western and central Iowa in addition to the Omaha metro area and would consider booking destination weddings outside the state.
In January, Simpson Studios was named a recipient of the prestigious Bride's Choice Awards from WeddingWire.com.
About the Photographers
Erin is a former student of Drake University and Des Moines Area Community College's photography program, though she is largely self-taught. In 2008, she began working as an in-house product photographer for a small Des Moines company. In 2009 she moved from the Des Moines metro and started Simpson Studios. Erin is a current member of the Professional Photographs of America (PPA) and is continuing to study the continually evolving techniques and styles of professional photography.
She and her husband reside in Western Iowa with their son, Jeremiah. The Simpsons are expecting the arrival of their second child, Samuel, in May of 2012 and, as a result, are not booking wedding dates for the months of April and May.
Rachel is a self-taught photographer with a passion for shooting. Particularly talented in shooting the candid moments of a wedding, she is also interested in the art of videography. The mother of a young daughter, she is working as an assistant and second shooter while she finds her own photographic voice.
Simpson Studios is an Iowa based wedding photography company servicing couples of Iowa and Nebraska. We offer both Fine-art and Photojournalistic styling for the couple who has a taste for the exceptional.
